Visual Identity for Kvarken Surf Club — A Fictional Finnish Surf Brand

Kvarken Surf Club is a conceptual surf brand that embraces the unique and often challenging surfing conditions of Finland. The identity is built around the phrase "No Bad Waves," expressing a resilient and optimistic attitude toward the local surf culture.

The visual identity was developed to reflect the brand’s connection to its environment. A surfing Great Cormorant — a bird native to the region — forms the centerpiece of the logo. Elements such as icicles on palm trees and rough wave forms were incorporated to emphasize the cold, raw nature of Finnish surfing.
